Brewer's Notes

For the Choco Nut Stout, there's a pleasant chocolate aroma with nice nuttiness coming through. The taste is similar with a creamy chocolate taste along with the nuts. It has some sweetness coming through the beer but not too heavy, smells sweeter than the taste. ABV is 6.3%, IBUs are low at 23 to help offset the sweetness. I think the mouthfeel lingers a bit with taste but the overall body of the beer isn't full and heavy.

When you order on the website, there's a minimum order of Php750 for delivery and you need to pay in advance upon checkout. However, there's no minimum order value required for pickup, and you or your courier can pick up the orders at our brewery. You still need to pay for the orders in advance on the website.

You bet! For those living in Metro Manila, we offer same day delivery for orders made before 3PM. Simply select the same day delivery option upon checkout. If you missed the cut-off time, don't worry! You can still get your hands on your orders by choosing the Same Day Pickup option during office hours. Please note that the shipping fee will be shouldered by the buyer.

Big flavors!

Oh this stout with a lot of influence from the all-time nostalgic Chocnut is making me want to get another 4-pack or two! I can’t believe Engkanto Brewery pulled this off. Very good job you guys! Excellent craft beer!

The beers were excellent. Engkanto is a fave of mine. I bought several packs and have them delivered to work colleagues as Christmas gifts. However, one pack as misdelivered to me instead of the intended person and I am still waiting for an action regarding this. I emailed Engkanto and have not heard from them yet.

Choc Nut Stout

It was a creative attempt on a Filipino favorite but does not feel like a main stay kind of beer. I appreciate the novelty and the authenticity, and it does have the body of a stout. One or two bottles are enough during a drinking session with friends and family. However, it does wake up the palate and stir up a conversation.
