What's exciting about Summer Fling Passionfruit Sour is it's so easy to drink at 4.7% ABV, a low alcohol level. What's even more exciting is the luscious tartness coming from locally sourced passion fruit, which we've used on the hot side of the brewing process and also in the post-fermentation to really bring out the flavor and aroma. I've brewed with passion fruit in the past, and for this beer, we wanted to get the harmony of the fruit's profile with the choice of imported hops and other ingredients. The eye-catching, straw-colored appearance with a little bit of haze, almost juice-like, should entice a lot of people with this refreshing treat for the summer.
