For this golden craft beer we call Engkanto High Hive Honey Ale, pure honey is the star beer brewing ingredient, harvested from local apiaries and farms in the Philippines. They are hand selected, along with othe imported ingredients, to provide a smooth, subtly sweet local beer with light floral honey notes. The body of the honey ale is medium with balanced bitterness. Sip this artisanal beer by itself or try a craft beer pairing with many dishes including Kare-Kare, grilled chicken, smoked meats, spicy Mexican delicacies, or tangy cheese.

I’ve been won over

I drink my beer cold, and I see that other reviewers suggest not letting it get too cold.
Anyway this is a smooth, crisp, satisfying beer and without aftertaste, to me a sign of a perfectly matured brew.
Although, Engkanto name this Honey Ale, I found similarities between it and a Czech Pilsner.
I will certainly be getting other Engkanto brews.

Nice sweet beer

Fantastic beer. Just the right amount of sweet. Don't drink it too cold it will destroy the taste. Just refrigerate for about an hour to get the full flavor.
