Emerging from classic European beer brewing techniques, Engkanto Live It Up Lager goes beyond the boundaries with the use of hops grown outside Europe, that’s why we also call it a New World Pilsner. The result is a beer with unique tropical profile that has notes of citrus, passionfruit, and melon.

Brewer's Notes

Engkanto Live It Up Lager is a handcrafted beer brewed using classic European techinques. Hence, we call it a New World Pilsner since we use hops grown outside Europe to give it a different profile. These hops give the craft beer some island/tropical characteristics with notes of citrus, passionfruit and melon. We use high quality Pilsner malt to give the beer a balanced malt backbone with a subtle note of toasted biscuits. Our lager beer is refreshing with a crisp and balanced profile and just the right touch of malt sweetness to keep the beer tasting incredibly sessionable for the local craft beer community.
