Brewer's Notes

In brewing this beer using the Golden Ticket coffee beans from Yardstick, I anticipate flavors of toasted caramel, dark chocolate, and light nuttiness, and the main goal is to brew a robust porter beer, with some complexity in the flavors while still allowing the wonderful coffee notes of the Golden Ticket to still come through the finished porter.

As for the alcohol level of the Golden Ticket, it's coming out at a moderate 5.5% ABV, with that balanced drinkability and enjoyable for a dark beer.
