Engkanto Citrus & Spice
Our golden Blonde Ale beer gets a bright makeover, sorbet style. Engkanto Citrus & Spice is oozing with citrusy notes from its original craft beer recipe complemented by the freshness of lemon. A dash of chili flakes tickles a bit of heat and spiciness in each scoop. Putting down your spoon after giving this a try is a terrible idea.

India Pale Ale & Nuts
Sink your teeth into a world of delight with India Pale Ale & Nuts. This milk-based creation has toasted nuts, caramel, chocolate-coated potato strings, and the flavors of our India Pale Ale beer that will make your palate run wild. Drift into the richness of this crowd-pleaser, but make sure to come back for more.

Double IPA Chocolate Truffle
The boldness of our Double IPA meets its dance partners: layers of dark chocolate and a sprinkle of raw cacao powder. They make the Double IPA Chocolate Truffle utterly smooth and irresistibly decadent. Subtle fruity sensations from our beer recipe give balance to the strong flavors. It’s the therapy you never thought you need.

2 out of 3 for me

Hands down, Double IPA choco truffle wins gold. I am a sucker for anything dark chocolate. Silver goes to India Pale Ale & Nuts. The Engkanto Citrus Spice, though, didn't sit well with my taste buds. It's too zesty and tangy for me. I wish in the next run they could tone down it a little to have a more balanced flavor. Pwede bang mag-release ng single flavors na tub size? I'd go Double IPA any day.

Hits just right

I've been a fan of the IPAs for a while now and thought why not try this. The flavors don't feel forced and are actually quite good. I don't think it's for everyone especially for those with a sweet tooth and are expecting a sweet dessert. But for me, I quite like the bitterness of the chocolate truffle, the sour-spiciness of the citrus & spice, and the unexpectedly great combination of the IPA & nuts.

Rogue and Fascinating Combo: Engkanto's Beer x Gelato

When I saw this on their ads, I said to myself, "Why not? I can hit two birds with one stone with this one." So I bought online and chose same-day delivery. It arrived a bit late in the day, but that's alright because it was a rainy Thursday night after all. I saved it for my late Sunday night binge-watching, and it was indeed a great way to cap off the week that was. I tried the citrus & spice cup first. It has that bittersweet citrusy aftertaste that lingers in your mouth long after the gelato has melted on your tongue. It was a weird combination of tastes but surely left a nice surreal feeling. I am looking forward to the other two flavors and believe they too would leave a surprise to my palate.
